Saudi Crown Prince Discusses Virus Outbreak with Macron, Modi

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, received on Tuesday a telephone call from French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss global efforts to contain the coronavirus outbreak, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Crown Prince Mohammed underlined the importance of coordinating efforts to combat the epidemic and adopting appropriate policies to reduce its burden on the global economy within the framework of the G20.

Saudi Arabia assumed the presidency of the G20 for 2020.

Crown Prince Mohammed also received a telephone call from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the outbreak.
